Stereo Compilation

Stereo compilation maps vector features from an oriented stereo pair: two overlapping photographs viewed and measured in three dimensions. Advanced softcopy plotting helps capture vector data from models of varied scales and deliver high quality digital topographic and planimetric maps in industry standard formats.

DTM / DEM Extraction

Terrain representation built from mass points, breaklines, and elevation values.

A digital terrain model contains mass points with X, Y, and Z elevation values. Unlike a regular grid DEM, DTM mass points can be placed according to the natural shape of the terrain, using fewer points in flat areas and more points where the surface is undulating.

Breaklines are included where the terrain changes suddenly, making the model more faithful to the true ground surface and improving downstream contour, topographic, and orthophoto production.
